Hokusai is an innovative interior design company, specialized in creating furniture products that blend the minimalist elegance of Swedish style with refined Japanese aesthetics. This design marriage offers a unique collection of furniture and home accessories that celebrate simplicity, functionality and natural beauty while inviting calm and contemplation of modern living spaces.

TARGET
Hokusai's target audience includes mid-to-high economic level design lovers, including young professionals, couples and families who appreciate the art of interior design and seek to create living spaces that are serene and aesthetically satisfying retreats.

CONCEPT
Hokusai aims to become a reference brand for those seeking transcultural harmony in furnishings, reflecting the balance between Japanese and Swedish design and conveying the philosophy of intentional and harmonious living, inspired by the two cultures. 

DESIGN
The visual identity combines both Japanese and Swedish visual elements, expressing balance, simplicity and naturalness. The color palette will feature colors inspired by nature, with neutral shades and accents of pastel or earthy colors that reflect the calm and harmony of the two cultures. Finally, the typography is going to be simple, modern and legible; in order to reflect the fusion of the two design styles, avoiding decorative excesses to maintain an atmosphere of elegant minimalism.
